    Burka debate

They make a song and dance about Boris Johnson remarks buts that’s all they are remarks in France and Denmark they are now illegal to wear in a public place but nothing is said about that if I moved to another country then I would abide with their culture so surly people who come to this country to live should do the same and intergrate themselves into our culture.I suppose the problem with burkas is people feel threatened by them, you don’t know who’s underneath them(the security services have already lost one suspect terrorist because he dressed in a burka) and talking to a pair of eyes does not appeal to people

What I would like to know is how they get on when going into a bank, shopping at supermarket etc because if you have a hoddy or crash helmet on you are made to take it off or are these people too frightened to tell them as they will be accused of something

I think you hit the nail on the head with " people too frightened to tell them ". They know that if they challenge them a **** storm will arise from every quarter and likely or not their employer is likely not to support them.
I believe in the countries where the burka is banned, the main argument for the ban was on security grounds that you cannot identify anybody wearing one.

100 Muslim women write to the chairman of the Conservative party stating Boris Johnson should be kicked off the Conservative party yet 60% of a sky poll say he was right.I think they better be careful what they wish for otherwise we’ll go down the road of France and Denmark
