Watched the news yesterday saw him give his lecture at the foreign office where he said that if the UK left the EU and sort a trade deal with the USA it would go to the back of the queue so that's how he will treat us over supporting them over Iraq Syria Afghanistan Well if we do leave the EU and Boris Johnson gets elected prime minister the next time the good old USA wants some help I'll hope he tells them they will have to go to the back of the queue. As a person who is undecided, when I hear someone from another country telling me what to do I'll just go and do the opposit
They have sown the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind
As usual they will want us before we want them. He wants to sort his own country out before interfeering in things that have nothing to do with him. What a bleeding cheek trying to tell us what to do or else. Pri#k.
hi guy's.
It might come as a surprise to some but Obama is only repeating what has been previously stated some time ago.by his Secretary of State for Trade.Nothing to do with DC or No10. The US seem to be quite clear, they are only going to deal with a single block. hence the recent treaty with the Pacific Nations. If the UK leave the EU they will be isolated from most major Markets. However in case anyone thinks we can go it alone.. No.. we have not been an independent trading Nation since the early 1960's,by which time we No Longer Had the Exclusivity of trade with the Commonwealth. if you don't believe me, look up the History of E.F.T.A. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Europe...de_Association
of which the UK was a Founding Member. we only left it to go into the EU.
EFTA is a Much Weaker Trading Block. I think that this is maybe a fallback strategy for the UK to rejoin.
in My Opinion the ''No'' Campaign is being less than Truthful with the people as to where we would go in the Future, and anyone who has the Nerve to tell the Truth is ridiculed.
A campaign group website says over a million people in the European Union have signed a petition against trade negotiations with the United States.
The petition calls on the EU and its member states to stop the talks on the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership or TTIP.
It also says they should not ratify a similar deal that has already been done between the EU and Canada.
It says some aspects pose a threat to democracy and the rule of law.
In Britain, the possible implications of this provision for the National Health Service have been especially controversial. Campaigners believe that the investor tribunals would make it harder to reverse any decisions to contract services out to international healthcare firms. TTIP "will make it impossible for any future government to repeal the Health & Social Care Act and bring the NHS back into public hands".
I wonder why our dear friend Obama wants us to stay in, we have lost some of our democratic rights to the E.U, now the US of A wants some as well, who next, China?

For me, Ivor, (and I know you will respect my right to have an opinion) to use the term 'Fact' and 'Guardian' in the same sentence is a contradiction.
Keith Jones 'Government does not tax to get the money it needs; government always finds a need for money it gets'
I agree with Braz. Can you imagine the US opening their borders? I went to the US recently and had the 3rd degree including fingerprints etc. I would also ask if Obama would allow Cameron to poke into US affairs. The fact that Obama was allowed to air his views, just shows what a second rate country we have become.
The 'out' people seem to give opinions, the 'in' only 'fears'
The fact that Obama has aired his "opinion" and the statement that we will be at the back of the queue if we leave the EU when it comes to trade deals will I believe
make people more determined to opt for "Brexit". Our so called Special Relationship with the USA is mainly for the benefit of the Americans. The Americans joined the Second World War to help us to stop Hitler and the Germans from taking over Europe, alas it has not worked, we may have beaten them in two World wars but they are beating us now in the form of the EU, as the Germans are the dominant force in it.
We need to take back control of our Borders and start to limit the masses that are entering the country, without this happening we will be swamped by them. There are not enough homes for our own without having to provide for immigrants. This may sound racist, and if I am branded a racist so be it, enough is enough.
