Army accused of sexism over 'housewife kits'

The army has been accused sexism after regiments referred to sewing sets carried by soldiers as “housewife kits”.
Acknowledging the term was “outdated”, the Ministry of Defence said that it no longer has a place in the armed forces.

Perhaps in stead of the MOD., stating the term was outdated, they should have asked what should they be call then. Though I believe that the answer should have been, " Thats the name for the kit and that is the name which will continued to be used ".

I would suggest renaming it to a ‘STILL’, as in ‘still a housewife’!
