Sending my condolences to family and friends .. R.I.P Joe until we meet again on that big parade square in the sky .. You were a True Royal Welch man ..
All members of the Royal Welch Fusiliers Comrades Association - Wrexham Branch send their thoughts and condolences to his family at this sad time.
On a personal note I am proud to say I served with Joe in the 1st Bn and Mortar Platoon and you would not find a truer Royal Welchman. RIP Joe, it was a pleasure knowing you.
Very sad news about Joe, our condolences to Joe's family, friends and fellow comrades at this very sad time. RIP Joe.

Joe, in the middle of the photo, was such a Battalion character. He was a man that you would only have to have had the briefest of dealings with for you to remember him forever. His famed sense of humour lightened any situation
I feel cheated as I know that I will never experience his quick wit and dry sense of humour again. His loss has devastated everyone who knew him and he will be missed forever.
Lovely man Joe, served with him B company, same mortar platoon, same rugby team and same Red Dragon Club. A loyal Royal Welch character with a great sense of humour, a good mortarman too. I enjoyed his company and so pleased I got to chat with him in the Wynstay at the 2017 Reunion. Heartfelt condolences to his children on their loss. RIP Joe.
