I have just seen this post on Facebook and thought it Appropriate to place it on the forum;
Hi all. I am just leaving the Royal Gwent hospital Newport after visiting the character that is Joe Grant. Joe is seriously ill I am afraid, as some of you may know he unfortunately has cancer.
I feel that he would really enjoy a visit from the men who served with him, especially the Rugby lads.
I believe that Joe will be home in Cwmbran on Monday. I have heard some great stories of his tours in NI, rugby days and other times in 1 RWF. Always a pleasure to be in his company.
If you want any more info, please message me, or Joe, and I will get back to you as soon as I can.
