Wouldn't trust any MPs with anything that you wanted to keep hushed up. Unless it is their EXPENSES.

Re: Labour Cold War spies
we have been given no proof of Russian involvement. this seems a deliberate attempt to distract from the mess resulting from benefit cuts and the Brexit farce.

Re: Labour Cold War spies
Well I think history shows us that spying has covered the whole political and military defence spectrum over the years. For example at least one former ( now dead ) Conservative Defence Minister, and let us not forget, Kim Philby, ( A Colonel in KGB ) and others etc.
It also would not appear to be confined to one particular political ideology although there is perhaps in a number of proven cases an educational connection via Cambridge and Oxford University's.

no my friend. no bubble. I was a cop in UK who dealt with facts and Evidence, not theories or maybe's . I have not seen a shred of Evidence to blame Russia. this stuff was made many years ago, admittedly by Russia but with modern technology what is to stop other ex USSR countries having it as well. I believe that if Russia was behind this then the folks would be Dead. this would appear to be an amateurish bodge job. this is a smoke screen to cover something else. maybe even an attempt to aid Trump. but we have nothing to use as leverage. we get gas from Russia what happens when it is turned off. the following may be an interesting read....https://www.reuters.com/article/us-b...medium=partner

Re: Labour Cold War spies
Two things I would say Ivor is like you I was a cop 30 years service
1. How many times did you deal with some ***** who you knew had done it but didn’t have any evidence.
2. The government will not release all the evidence as it may prejudice the enquiry and that is standard procedure and any evidence that there is is way above our paygrade
With regard to cutting off gas can’t do much about that but trying to relate this to Brexit what a load of ********

There you go Ivor now the Russians have come out and said we (the .uk) used the nerve agent ourselves in our backyard Russia's EU ambassador has suggested a UK research laboratory could be the source of the nerve agent used in the attack on an ex-spy and his daughter.
