BBC salaries
With the list been published yesterday of how they spend our money one of the names that stood out to me was John McEnroe the ex tennis player who earns between 150/200k a year I take it that's for the commentating he does for them for two weeks works at Wimbledon because that's the only time I hear him on BBC nice work if you can get it.
They have sown the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind

And besides that he doesn't commentate on every match, just the top seeds.

Re: BBC salaries
We can take some small consolation from the fact that under the US system he pays income tax on it!

It will be to them They have both federal and state tax systems whereby any earnings even that earned outside of the states has to be declared, as far as I am aware.

Re: BBC salaries
There's a couple of BBC radio stations, one in particular, that I would hate to be without and if it came to it would probably cough up the licence fee for. So the rest, like anything on TV, is a bonus really.
Pretty much everyone on this A list gets few, if any hits from me, especially the ginger idiot.
Working for yourself is great, not only can you work half days, you can choose which 12 hours!
