At long last health tourists are going to be charged upfront for non urgent treatment it's been a long time in coming

It's about bleeding time too. I was shocked about that woman that gave birth to quads or whatever the otherday. America refused her entry and she went into labour when her plane landed here. I think I saw somewhere that she and her husband are surgeons or something and have no intention of paying the money back.

She was due to give birth in the states where she has family but officials turned her away as they found that she had no money to pay for the birth of her babies there so she ended up in UK to date the bill is 500k and as no means to pay for the treatment. Maybe we need to make sure that prior to arriving in the UK people must have Travel insurance

With this woman it is a hard one maybe the Americans should pay her bill or she is deported the two baby's are kept here until payment is made. And in future or custom officers check that all foreign passport holders have health insurance cover, or enough money to pay for any treatment they might need before being aloud into our country.
