    Henry Price Evans WWII

Asking for a friend who has sent me this information.

As far as she knows, he was born in 1906 – 7, and was Henry Price Evans. He joined the army before the war, and she is pretty certain he was in the Royal Welch Fusileers. She knows he fought at Dunkirk and thinks he then went on to fight in Burma. She also thinks he served in India, although that may have been either before the war or after the war. She also says he was RSM by the end of his time in the army, and that he was Regimental heavyweight boxing champion for a while. He obviously survived the entirety of the war.

If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated. I have been busy since I got this but I am off tomorrow and I will look through my books to see if he is mentioned in any of them.

I have informed him and suggested he try the MOD for his service papers as that will probably have more information. Thanks again.

Wise thought, Jerry. Will take 3 to 6 months, but provides more info than we can usually dig up.
