Bridgend Armed Forces Covenant Signing Ceremony
Bridgend Branch The Royal Welsh Comrades Association
Today myself, Tom White and Geoff Durk attended The Bridgend & District Armed Forces Covenant Signing Ceremony which took in the Bridgend Civic Offices. I was asked to be a signatory to sign the Covenant on behalf of The Bridgend Branch of the Royal Welsh Comrades Association. The covenant is one of many that are being signed UK wide. The Covenant promise to deliver various initiatives in helping service leavers on transition from service to civilian life. It is in my nature to be sceptical as to how much promise is delivered but hopefully some good will comes out of this.

The forces champion for Bridgend briefed the audience on a number of areas where the Bridgend & District County Council would assist and give a degree of priority to Service Leavers.The main areas I picked up on where ;
