    Sgt J.A.P. Lightfoot

I am trying to find the whereabouts of ex:-Sgt John Lightfoot, last known living in Wrexham. He was one of the first National Servicemen
to be promoted to Sergeant while serving with the 1st Battalion in Jamaica in 1953.
His last recorded posting was as Training Sgt at Hightown Barracks in 1954.I would be grateful for any information as to his address and
    well-being that can be supplied.

    BRIANM.

    Hi Brian,
Our branch is having its monthly meeting tomorrow - 29th March 12, some of our members would have heard of John, I will ask the likes of ex Sgt Ernie Wilcock, Cpl Bill Jackson (Both at the Wrexham Barracks about that time , as instructors). If I hear any more, I will post on the forum.

    Good Luck in your quest?
    Best Regards

    Hi Brian
Don Smith (one of our branch members) Believes that John had settled down in the Wrexham area (Rhos?).
    Best Regards
    Benny
