New Canadian's
At long last (and about time) my wife and I became Canadian citizens today. There was a wonderful ceremony and several friends came along to support us. A really nice day.

Well done Thom. Although you are now a Canadian, your roots still are in Wales.

Nice one Dilwyn. Love all the Decor butt. How long did you have to wait for them to Nationalise you and the Mrs then? I wish you all the best for the future in your New and Wonderfull New Homeland. All the very best from al at the Denbigh Branch of the RWFCA. Braz

Re: New Canadian's
You are right Bertie, I'll always remember my roots. We've been here 19 years now and this is where we intend to stay (we couldn't afford to come back to the UK even if we wanted to). However, we now have dual citizenship.
Braz, we only had to wait 3 or 5 years but we just never got around to it until now. Thanks for the nice comments, it's appreciated.
Thanks Gwyn bach. The no shoes is a Canadian thing. Everyone takes their shoes off when entering any home in Canada.
Cheers Benny
Dilwyn

Re: New Canadian's
Hey Dilwyn, that pot next to your right elbow (which you have obviously converted to a lamp) looks awfully like the one that was sold by that small auction house in Cambridge recently for 43 million quid. Is that the reason you can't afford to come back to UK now?
