3rd Bn The Royal Welsh soldier under threat of murder charge in Afghanistan

I just read this on online Daily Mail. If this is true I sincerely hope that every member of the forum who has a family member in the TA is persuading them to hand in their resignations tomorrow morning. This country does not deserve these people if we can't send them to a war zone to kill people who are operating as terrorists or are suspected of same can't do it without having the threat of criminal action being taken against them. If our government are not happy for our soldiers to be killing suspected terrorists (who would behead them in a heartbeat - without the threat of being tried for murder) then our soldiers should NOT be sent to a war zone. If this comes off our government will have plumbed to the lowest level of depravity.

the only good terrorist is the ones that are dead ones, and I appologise to those who think this offensive but i believe this and many of you do.

From what i read his comm,s were down and he made a command decision to open fire and should be commended for been brave enough to do what he did, to be threatened with a court martial only adds insult to this brave TA soldier who has volunteered to do his share. He should be supported by all and mentioned in dispatches for his actions.
