Sometimes, the government (or a Ad bureau gone berserk) can come up trumps. I reall like this logo for an important swedish governmental service:

Which service? Well, what does it look like? Been checking the drain in the kitchen basin lately? Thats it, it's our Revenue Service! I'm sure they did not know what they decided on, but I laugh every time I see it.
