Lord mayor of cardiff
The newly appointed Lord Mayor of Cardiff is the Rt Hon Brian Griffiths http://www.cardiff.gov.uk/content.as...d=2865&id=7017
For those of you that knew him, will remember that he was in the signals platoon 1st Bn Royal Welch in Jamaica circa 1951 - 54
I wish him well on his new appointment

Re: Lord mayor of cardiff
On Wed last, I was attending the Annual AGM for RF&CA for Wales, at the St David Hotel Cardiff and I had the pleasure of spending time with, His Worship the Lord Mayor, Brian Griffiths. Brian recalls his time in Jamaica with Bn, with much happy memories; he informs me that his Pl Comd at that time was David Pearson.
