RWF Drums Tribute Video - Youtube

    Hi all
General request really, I want to put a slideshow on youtube ( a few acually) featuring the Corps of Drums and I would need to use the photos on the Forum. They would not be personal photos of re-unions etc but more of the ceremonial side and maybe soldiering side. Does anyone have any objection who have posted photos, to me using them. Bob, Al, can I do this??
    Cheers
    Dai

    Re: Youtube

    Here's my take Dai.

When I made the NI Tribute Vid, the bulk of the images came from our Forum Gallery. I did not ask for permission, as living individuals were not identified. At the end of the day, when you submit a pic to the gallery, any rational person would realise that the image may be copied and posted elswhere, which is what you will be doing. I did however credit the RWF Forum at the end of the video. That would be quite important to me.

When I made the 50's tribute video, I used quite a few images from another website The RWF Photo Gallery. Because it was another site, I asked the site owner Brian Collins for permission, mainly out of common courtesy. Brian then contacted a few of the contributors and they all agreed. I also made sure in the video's final credits that his website along with The Forum were listed as contributors.

    Hope this helps.
