    Re: Golf Winners 2008.

Next year I will be putting everyones stableford score at the end of each meeting into a table format. and will be displaying it on this forum. who ever should top this table will be crown the overall Royal Welsh Champion.

However this was not possible this year, but looking at the results and winners if I was going to give the overall winner this year it would have to go to Paul Butt winning 3 of the 5 meetings.

just the stableford points will count after each meeting, so the more meetings everyone attends goes towards the final outcome..

just looking at your bonus point system nearest pin and longest drive are seperate comps within the comp for example say paul goes one better and wins 4 out of 5 somebody comes 2nd by 1 point in each of these and wins the 5th and wins nearest pin and longest drive at all 5 will top the table possibly have a formula 1 style system 25 win 22 20 19 down to 1 have a think about it
A bad day on the golf course is better than a good day at work

Brian the original post i was replying to has been changed if you had seen that one you might have understood what i was on about the formula 1 system is only to keep the field closer together simply what i was trying to say golf is played over 18 holes at the end. what you score counts no bonuses
cheers bri i was cr*p at BATCO anyway

Cheers Jeff, ive never understood golf anyway last time i was on a golf course was when we were in Ballykinler and took a walk across the bay to Newcastle and had to patrol that one so some high ranking bodies could have a game
