    Tattoo's

As my son Steffan is just off for yet another tattoo, it got me wondering having spent 24 years in the Regiment with no tattoo's am I unique.

Is there anyone else out there with no tattoo's, or if you have some do you regret it?

And no Scouse it's not that I'm tight I just never got round to it.

    Sid

    Re: Tattoo's

Just short of 15 years...and i never got a tattoo either..seen to many tattoo's that looked like they were done by some one who was blind, with a bag on their head......in the dark.

The reason why i never got a tattoo....

On many of the many " Rifle Company mass vacanation parades" in the med centre
Ive seen tattoos of the Union Flag with "Born In Wales" under it??
The "Prince of Wales" emblem that looks like wet chicken feathers on a tiara...
Dragons that look more like the 'Brains Brewery' emblem or a lame horse.
Names spelt wrong or they were done by someone with dyslexia.
Panthers that look like a drowned cats....

and a lot of infected ones too!

    should i go on?

The funniest tattoo, was obtained by a "certain" fusilier who upon joining Recce Platoon in Berlin, had tattooed on his forearm for all to see:

    Re: Tattoo's

Well in my case I Had tattoos prior to joining but that could be a Rhyl thing lol, but the quality depends on the artist and in fact are they an artist a tall and how much you willing to pay or had to drink" band of Brothers etc", as I have seen some good and some really poor!

I think it use to be a military thing but nowadays is't a bit of a misconception, As its just as popular in civvi st.

Had none since so awaiting a midlife crisis thingy?
