Re: Alun Valentine-Jones
My sincere condolences to all his family and friends, I did not know Alun but having read the comments so far it is obvious that Alun was highly thought of.
A sad loss to the Royal Welch in all respects.
Joe.

Re: Alun Valentine-Jones
Sincere condolences to Alun's family. He came to see me in hospital. It doesn't seem very long ago. He was a splendid fellow and will be sorely missed. It was a great shock. RIP, old friend

My very deepest sympathy goes out to Andrea and Family at this very sad time, A lot of forum members might not remember that Alun joined the Battalion as a drummer before joining B company. So on behalf of the drummers everywhere keep beating the retreat mate. rest in peace......

Re: Alun Valentine-Jones
We are all in deep shock here in the Shotton and Deeside Branch RWFCA to hear of Alan's sad Death. All our thoughts go out to Andrea and family and friends and Comrades'
I too like Paul, had many a chat with Alan over RWFCA matters as Hon Secretaries. Alan was a good up and coming Branch Secretary who worked very hard for the Wrexham Branch and his heart was RWFCA through and through. It's such a shock that Alan has been taken away from us at such a young age. Goodbye Comrade and may you rest in peace.
Deepest Sympathy from Benny and family, all at the Shotton and Deeside Branch RWFCA.
