Wrexham Xmas Night Out - 2007

Well,

What a great night out with great company.Thanks again to Bri and Angie for the organisation. Not forgetting Al's input....nil!! As Al said last night "IT'S ALL ABOUT DELEGATION!!". My highlights of the evening were...

1. Me and Sid at his house during battle prep, one in the bath one on the toilet. Good squaddie admin and concurrent activity!


2. Den Morris looking gutted that the other desserts were nicer than his and saying to Paul Gough.."WHY DID'NT WE ORDER THAT!!", as if it was Paul's responsibilty!

3. Paul Gough looking over at me all puppy-eyed saying "SCOUSE, THIS IS THE ONLY XMAS DINNER WE ARE GONNA GET IN FEMALE COMPANY!!"

4. Macs Berlin Quiz and the inter-table banter. No one was giving up any points easily!!

5. Bean putting on a posh voice in front of his missus, until I reminded everyone that he grew up in Llangollen with me!

6. Paul Gough's Tank-Top. He was quoted as saying "I knew you would all wear jackets, so I wanted to be different." It certaintly was Paul. I would'nt mind if it had fitted.

7. In Chicago rock discussing the success of the evening with Al Poole he commented.."Great night Scouse, the women could have made more of an effort though!!" Absolute classic!! Ladies, he was joking. You all looked great!

8. Beans realisation that he is not going to be an after dinner speaker!!

9. Sid's face when we 'invited' him to get the wine in for his promotion!!

10. Heidi's face when we 'invited' Sid to get the wine in for his promotion!!

Well, a lovely night was had. really looking forward to the next one, plans are already in motion for a bigger venue!!
