    Colonel in Chief

    Do all three Battalions have the same Colonel in Chief, if not will this change so there is one Colonel in Chief for the Royal Welsh????

    Hello Benny,
    To the best of my knowledge the Queen is still the Colonel in Chief of the 1st battalion RWF. Prince Charles is in the same job for the 2nd Batt. The last diary of the Comrades 2006 lists the Queen as Patron.

    Benny, I think you might find that HRH Queen Elizabeth is the Colonel In Chief of the 2nd Battalion since the merger.

    yes i think you are correct as the Queen was present with the 2nd batt for st Davids Day this year

    The Queen is the Colonel in Chief of the Regiment. As all 3 battalions are part of the same Regiment that means she is the Colonel in Chief of all 3.

    Prince Charles is now unemployed and claiming benefits.
