    Re: MPGS

Just had new details through the post today.

    a. Go to MPGS website, www.mpgs.mod.uk.

    b. Follow the instructions to the Army jobs website, www.armyjobs.mod.uk.

    c. Register your details.

    d. You will then be sent an email which will allow you to access the application forms.

    e. When you access the Regular Army application form, you must rember that when you get to last page 'career Interests', you must put MPGS and your areas of choice under the box titled 'additional information'. failure to do this will mean that their application will be rejected by the Central Processing Cell.

As well as Valley, they now are also being Recruited for Brawdy ( bring back memories for some members). There are many others, I will try to scan tonite and put on.

Well as far as the MPGS boys doing a great job goes, if it's not up your street and you fancy stagging on out here in Iraq, get in touch with Scott Lawson Ex Acoy. He is in charge of one shift and more over here in Baghdad with Aegis. Free Accom, free meals, free flights, free Insurance, not to mention body armour, oh and no nagging from the wife, no offence intended to any wives. Down side is, IDF and the occasional EFP, well i wont continue, otherwise the old boys will be pulling up sandbags. Oooops nearly 4 got, great sun lol. PS This is meant as a joke, all job enquries to relevent security companies.

    Hi Mike

These is the lastest info we have got in the office (arrived Monday). Glad to see you are enjoying yourselve up there. This has caused some interest, i have had 3 contacts already from the lads. With St Athan opening that will be a lot of interest.

    Re: MPGS

Dai, I was going to suggest at one stage that they should form a MPGS recruiting team, I know this does not apply to all offices, but if it is not a stat it is not worth that extra bit of effort! With a recruiting team they could target the areas of new sights opening. Maybe worth a mention to ATRA or MPGS Southwick Park?

    Re: MPGS

Dai, I see Maj John (or is Lt Col?) has just posted about the MPGS on the Royal Welsh site, I take it he is still ACO at Cardiff? I find it hard to believe that the MPGS Recruiting staff at Southwick Park have not thought about using forums like this before, the ammount of Regiments and Corps that have forums would be an ideal recruiting ground for them, especially as a lot of the members would fall into the brackett, 21 - 52.
