We are the galloping 23rd we,ll meet the enemy by and by , every man in the regiment is ready to do or die. We are the galloping 23rd second to the navy on the sea, if it was'nt for the galloping 23rd boys where the hell would the Army be? I'll Tell you, Miles behind the line (Shoveling S--t, Miles behind the Line shovelling S--t. Now our Sgt Major he never fired a gun, he won the DCM for the things he never done, and when the boys came over the hill you should see the B-----d run the other way boys the other way Miles behind the line Shov ets etc.
