Austin Davies
Just received some sad news from the daughter of Austin Davies in Fiji. Sadly, Austin passed away yesterday. Rest in Peace mate.

Re: Austin Davies
Sad news. I served with Austin throughout my career and especially when he was a member of 1 RWF Mortar Platoon. My thoughts and condolences are with his family at this difficult time. RIP Austin.

Re: Austin Davies
Very sad news of the passing of another member of the 68-69 group who joined the battalion then went immediately to Odense, followed by Kenya on exercise then the ultimate, a 21 month tour in Hong Kong. What more can a lad from Maerdy, Rhondda have wished for and we ALL, including Austin, thoroughly enjoyed every second of it! You will be sorely missed, mucker, but your duty is done. Rest in Peace.
