DPD scam
Picked this off a forum today so beware
Just so everyone is aware, as many of you are expecting deliveries up to Christmas, there is a scam email circulating widely at the moment that pretends it is from DPD but isn't. Someone may have already raised this on discussions but it is worth posting again and again. I got one this morning.
It on first glance looks genuine. Initially you think, oh, ok but as I wasn't expecting any deliveries at the moment, my alarm bells went off. It states that your delivery can't be delivered because of an incorrect address, so it tries to get you to click a couple of links to correct the 'mistake' so it can redeliver your parcel.
However, it reads that you will have to pay an admin cost to do so, so it will no doubt then get you to fill out your bank or credit card details. Please don't do it! Otherwise you could be robbed of money from your account or they could use your credit card details to buy all sorts of stuff.
They have sown the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind
