Lieutenant Colonel Andrew de Lukas-Lessner de Szeged

It is with very great regret that we must announce the death of Lieutenant Colonel Andrew de Lukas-Lessner de Szeged today, 6 December, aged 76 from a very aggressive form of bone cancer.
Andrew served with both the Royal Regiment of Wales and the Royal Welch Fusiliers. He commanded the 4^th Battalion The Royal Regiment of Wales from 1988–1991. Andrew decided to leave his body to science.
Col Andrew served with the 1st Bn RWF in Lemgo from 1979-1981 as OC C Company.
