Lieutenant Colonel Andrew de Lukas-Lessner de Szeged

It is with very great regret that we must announce the death of Lieutenant Colonel Andrew de Lukas-Lessner de Szeged today, 6 December, aged 76 from a very aggressive form of bone cancer.
Andrew served with both the Royal Regiment of Wales and the Royal Welch Fusiliers. He commanded the 4th Battalion The Royal Regiment of Wales from 1988–1991. Andrew decided to leave his body to science.
Col Andrew served with the 1st Bn RWF in Lemgo from 1979-1981 as OC C Company.
