The Passing away of Hugh Evans (Hughie) Ex 2nd Bn RWF Malaya

Our branch President was informed by Hughie's wife Barbara, that Hugh passed away in hospital peacefully after being ill for sometime.
Hugh served in the 2nd Bn RWF in Malaya and was a member the Borneo and Malayan Veterans Assc which held their meetings in Denbigh, he was also a member of the Shotton and Deeside Branch RWFCA/RWRA.

He will sadly be missed by All at both Assc's May He rest in peace.

There are no funeral details as yet but as soon as I know I will post the details on this forum.

A very sad time at present and our condolences go out to Barbara and family, friends and fellow comrades at this present time.
