Re: Williams 43 (Connah's Quay)
So sad to hear about John Williams 43 passing away, John , Glen Sparrow, Pethic, Denic, Paul Gough and myself all joined Junior Soldiers together. We where in Slim platoon in Cwrt Y Gollen, Abergavenny. 43, spadge and myself where posted to Lemgo to 8 platoon, Charlie company, Denic and Pethic where posted to 9 platoon whilst Paul Gough was posted to 1 platoon. 43 and myself served in Charlie company, Alpha company and mortar platoon. He was a great friend and a good soldier. I truly didn’t know anyone who a bad word to say about him. He got me into a lot of bother because I thought I could keep up with him (drinking that is). God bless you John Williams 24441343. RIP
