    Williams 43 (Connah's Quay)

It is with great sadness to hear the passing of Will 43 (Doris) of Connah's Quay, 43, was ex 1st Bn RWF left in 1986, served along side Pello, Jack Murphy etc. Our deepest sympathy goes out to his family, friends and fellow comrades at this very sad time.

I have spoken to Mike his brother, and 43's funeral will take place on Tuesday 9th July 19 1300hrs at the new Northop Hall Cremetorium Flintshire, full comrades service, bugler, standard bearer etc. Refreshment will be at the Celtic Arms after the service.

    Once again, our deepest sympathy

So sad to hear about John Williams 43 passing away, John , Glen Sparrow, Pethic, Denic, Paul Gough and myself all joined Junior Soldiers together. We where in Slim platoon in Cwrt Y Gollen, Abergavenny. 43, spadge and myself where posted to Lemgo to 8 platoon, Charlie company, Denic and Pethic where posted to 9 platoon whilst Paul Gough was posted to 1 platoon. 43 and myself served in Charlie company, Alpha company and mortar platoon. He was a great friend and a good soldier. I truly didn’t know anyone who a bad word to say about him. He got me into a lot of bother because I thought I could keep up with him (drinking that is). God bless you John Williams 24441343. RIP
