In August there are 2 Op Banner 50 Memorial Parades. One in Lisburn NI and one in the Arboretum, Staffordshire.

So, Lisburn first: This takes place on Saturday 17 August 2019.

The Arboretum, this is being held on Wednesday 14 August 2019 and is being run by the RBL. You just cannot just turn up. For this event, you will need to contact your Association RHQ direct so for RWF this is Wrexham 01978 316187 or your Branch Secretary who I am sure will sort it for you. If you are not a branch member, then phone RHQ.

For this event there is criteria for attending; To attend, individuals must have been awarded the GSM (NI). This will be verified before an attendance ticket is issued. Representatives of bereaved families are also invited.

I have e-mailed the RBL, because there was no mention of family guests and they have said that wives, partners or other guests of Serving or Veteran Military are not.

The Lisburn trip is a non starter for the Association, been costed and Assc is not willing to fund it (cost Too much)
