Re: Death of Colonel Phillip Eyton-Jones
Very sorry to hear of this, though I know his health had not been good of late. I had contact with him through his role with St.Asaph Diocese on buildings matters, and more recently on the editorial panel for the new RWF Regimental Records volumes.
A gentleman, and he will be much missed. may he rest in peace.

Phillip along with his wife Doreen was also very involved with St Brigids School in Denbigh, there was a number of Girls from the Bn who went there as borders, including my three girls, a great man who will be sadly missed, condolences to Jane, Jim and the boys.

Re: Death of Colonel Phillip Eyton-Jones
There was a large attendance at the funeral service in St Asaph Cathedral. 8 standards were on parade, albeit showery, a bugler sounded from the 1st Battalion. Respect for a soldier/officer and individual were spoken by all present. A wake was held, after a private ceremony at the crematorium, at Brookhouse in Denbigh.
