    Could it be royal regiment of fusiliers they had a red and white hackles?

    Lord knows rrf on the left rwf on the right Sgt tom sal at the flag pole gun club can't remember the rrf in hong Kong the same time as us and I thought it was some jock regiment that took over from us

    You are right, Steve, QOHLDRS took over Gun Club from us. This photo COULD be handover of Governors or Victoria Barracks (HQ Hong Kong) Guard. Seem to recall that RRF took over Lyemun Camp before we left for Londonderry? Not sure so please don't quote me!

    It was the handover by the 1st Bn The Lancashire Fusiliers (1967-1969) Gun Club Hill Barracks in Hong Kong to the Royal Welch Fusiliers.

    First Battalion Royal Hampshire Regiment (1974–76)

    As far as I am aware,

    1st Queen's Own Highlanders in Germany - 1971-1976
    In April 1971 the Queen's Own Highlanders moved to Belfast Barracks, Osnabrück, in West Germany. The battalion formed part of 12 Mechanised Brigade, in the 2nd Division, in the British Army of the Rhine.
