Les Finch
It is with great sadness that I have to report on the passing of Les Finch who died yesterday about 11:30 hrs. He had been ill for a few months but is now at peace.
Les was a very popular member of Shrewsbury and District Branch and he will be sorely missed.

Re: Les Finch
Such sad news Mal. I first met Les when I was 16yrs old at Crick in 1977. He was on the Depot MT. He always looked after the RWF Juniors when on exercise ect. At Capel Curig, on our first adventure training he squared it with our Pl Sgt(Nipper Rees) then took me, Keith Darlington and Rob Mathews in a 4 tonner for a few beers at the Swallow Falls Hotel, as it was Robs 17th Birthday. A great night, and a great, very generous, kind bloke.
RIP Les.
