    Re: LofF Dinner 2016

    Good Morning all,
before I put up the list, I would like to mention why we had a delay this year in the sending out of the newsletter, we thought that in past years we have sent out the dinner details earlier and they have been put aside to complete closer to the date, and they have been forgotten about, this year we have sent them out a little later and we seem to be getting replies back straight away.

Name Guest Name Meal Paid Remarks
    Tony Corbett Carol Corbett Yes
    Allan Phillips Carol Phillips Yes
    Martin Hargraves Wendy Hargraves Yes
    Mike Salway Nil Yes
    Ray Edwards Julie Yes
    Carol Carnell Nil Yes
    Dai Williams Michelle Williams Yes
    Barry Smith Hazel Smith
    John Lewis Julie

I have had letters of apologies from
    John Jones
    Vic Hughes
    Frank Harry
Plus those posted on the forum. They all wish us a very good weekend.

I will now start posting as they come in.

That doesn't work for me I'm afraid, there's a couple of people attending that, with more notice, I may have made an effort for but I've found out too late. If details are sent out earlier here on the forum they can be easily bumped to the top and the same is true for group email. There's also a LOFs FB page that has had zero activity

    It's all free, use it.

John, Just to remind you, and every one else,We decide a few years ago that we would hold our reunion around the same weekend every
year, so that people would know in advance when it was likely to be held, yet we still have the same excuses from those who book their holidays not remembering what date we meet. This is about the fourth year we have met at this time of year. Tony Corbett. Please inform all your friends it is still not to late to come and join us in two weeks time

    Hi John
I hear what you are saying, but how much notice would you like, the January 2016 Newsletter has an advanced warning for the Dinner, including the date. Sending the details out before that would not be a good idea. But like Tony said, there is still time to book, the hotel still have rooms, and there are spaces on the table plan, not sure what else we can do for you my old friend, but I am willing as always to listen to any suggestions you may have.+

    Re: LofF Dinner 2016

Sorry Martin, I got confused between newsletter and list of attendees. I'd like the list of attendees to start earlier ... unless of course no-one commits until one month before. It's unlikely I could do that and it's certainly too late now. Unless I missed something the first published list of attendees is your post above of Apr 16.

Yes it was John, but that was when they started coming in and I listed them on the Forum. So sorry that you cannot make it, I enjoy our chats at the bar at the end of the night, we are very short on numbers this year due to holidays, maybe we should move back to April!!!!!
