Re: Moving
Good luck Steve….having just done the same myself, I found the moving bit the easiest (I just paid someone to do it!). Selling however, was a complete nightmare, mainly caused by solicitors not doing their jobs properly. But now in our new pad, and happy as Larry.
Enjoy your new place.

Re: Moving
Hi Al,
I had a run in with a nationally prominent (at the time) solicitor/conveyancer a couple of years ago over a house purchase.
In his bundle of 'Information for Purchasers' were 7 or 8 A4 pages of the penalties that they would impose upon me if I did (or did not do) something wrong, or if I did something late. All of it telling me quite clearly the financial penalty I would have to pay in those circumstances.
After reading this I penned a note explaining that they had forgotten to include, in the package, details of what I could expect from them if they made the same mistakes, and I would be grateful if they could forward it so that I could make a fully informed decision on whether to use their services or not.
Got a letter, by return, letting me know they were declining to take me on as a client!
