Very sad to report the death of Mr Bill Francis RWF a member of the Welshpool RWFCA Branch for many years. Bill joined the army in the late 1940's with his two friends Capt Roy Blewitt MBE and Lt Col John Jones MBE. During part of his service he was Staff Car Driver for Colonel J. L. Corbett-Winder, O.B.E., M.C.
Bill's funeral will take place at 1130hrs Tue 2nd Feb 2016 at the Emstrey Crematorium at Shrewsbury.

A very sad loss, he joined the Army with my father and Lt Col John Jones MBE in 1948. He remained a wonderful friend of the family, throughout his life. Our thoughts and condolences to his family. Blewitt Family.
