Do the 1st Bn still have Billy? Reason I ask is why was the 3rd Bn Mascot at the presentation of Colours

Because the 1st Bn's goat died a few weeks ago and the new goat, from Great Orme, is not yet ready for parades. The 1st Bn's goat is not called Billy, furthermore, for your interest, it is a Regimental Mascot rather than the Regimental Goat (i.e. a member of the bn rather than a mascot) which, as you will know, 1RWF's was.

Hi Keith Yes The next 1st RW Goat will be Neutered and will be named Llewelyn.And will be comeing from the wild goats off the Great Orme at Llandudno.

Coincidence that, a mate of mine from the Recce, 60s, same name, Llewelyn, (Vaughan-Humphries) came from same area, Conway, allways acting the goat, must be the sea air, and no he was not neutered

Well Brian i actually was born in Llandudno and now live here,and one less goat on the Orme i guess will be a blessing to the people who live near or on the Orme,as there will be less feeding on the flowers hedges etc of their homes
