Soldier statue seaham
Called into SEAHAM, Co Durham today, stopped to walk the dogs and came across this amazing statue on the village green overlooking the Harbour.
It is absolutely stunning and the 'atmosphere' it created when I stood close to it and looked up into his face sent a huge shiver down my spine.
It has been there since last year but I was not previously aware of it, my last visit to SEAHAM being some 5 years ago.
Some of you are most likely already aware of it but felt I had to share it with people who would really appreciate it.

Outstanding Keith, great statues seems to be a North East trait. Last year whilst touring through Normandy I chanced upon this statue that was dedicated to the Green Howards.

Thank you for sharing, both statues are amazing, but the one is Seaham is an outstanding piece of artwork/sculpture in it's own right .

I agree, absolutely. It would not be out of place in the National Arboretum.
