    Re: Pension Increase

CPI was at 1.2 % September 2014 so that will be the increase to normal Army pensions. War pensions also increase by 1.2 %.

You sure Keith? Assuming the 2.5% triple lock on SP has been applied for the next annual uplift:

A 2.5% rise of GBP9.57 PER WEEK puts you on a state pension of over GBPK19.

A 2.5% rise of GBP9.57 PER MONTH puts you on a state pension of just under GBPK5, which is more likely.

PS - been scanning some YDG recently and came across some photos of a VERY young Drummer Will 38 from the 60s and 70s - I can pull them off and email them to you if you want to see how good looking you were in those days (not the whole journal, just the offending photos).

    Re: Pension Increase

just checked again my oap pension 2014was £148.09, from the 9th April 2015 my oap pension will be £157.14,i did get it wrong but only by 52p, that total is my weekly pension,my pension also includes a contribution from my late wife,s NI contributions,i have inherited 60% of the pension my wife would have got and that also attracts the pension rise each year. Yes i would appreciate you emailing me those photographs if you need my email address which is a AOL one let me know, and still good looking tym
