    Medal x rwf 1914 1918.

    Hi about 10/15 years ago I picked up a great war medal in a second hand shop in wrexham,on the side of the medal is 7786 Pte H BATLEY r w Fus.just want to know if you could do some research please.

    Hi, are you sure it does not read BAILEY? as I found a Henry Bailey army number 7786 who served with 4th Bn RWF who went to France 10th Jan 1915 and was discharged 28th April 1916. He was entitled to a trio of medals including the 14/15 Star, BWM and VM. He was discharged because of sickness with war badge number169289. Obviously if it is not Bailey, all this is irrelevant.
