The sad passing of Mr John Jenkins

Please find below details for the arrangements to lay Mr John Jenkins to rest:

Funeral Service will take place at St David's Church, Talybont, Ceredigion at 1200 hrs on Thursday 12th June followed by the interment at Aberystwyth Crematorium at 1330hrs....the after proceedings will be at the White Lion Hotel, Talybont, Ceredigion.

John was a stalwart Comrade and a fearlessly proud Royal Welchman.

If Comrades and Standard Bearers wish to attend can they please contact Paul Hinge by Tuesday 11th by close of play (1900hrs). Dress Code: Regt Blazer and trousers/Suit with Regimental Tie.

The branch will be supplying poll bearers for the coffin both at the church and the crematorium.

John is the very last WW2 veteran in the Aberystwyth branch. He was unfortunately wounded at s-Hertogenbosch and was a war pensioner. John was a wonderful character who's stories and character will be a sad loss to the Aberystwyth Branch.
