Inkerman Roll
Can anybody enlighten me on what is or was the Inkerman Roll? I vaguely remember it somewhere in my past however, I cannot recall what it was.

Inkerman was a battle honour from the Crimean War awarded to the 23rd, have a look here:

We used to have a regimental 'Inkerman Ball' - the one held in my time in the battalion (1969 - 74) was in the Peninsula Hotel, Hong Kong. VERY posh do!
