Just some information that you may already be aware of.

There are 15 guests that have reserved rooms with the Metropole so far. There is a cut off point of 6 weeks for any accommodation that remains unsold, they release them back into their system for re sale.

Cost:
Friday Night: Dinner & B&B Rate @ £69.00 per person (or B&B only at £59.00 per person)
Saturday Night: B&B at £59.00 per person

Bookings can be made by phoning the Reservations Department at the Hotel on 01597 823700 and quoting RWF League of Friends.

The Metropole requires a £20.00 per person deposit to guarantee the booking so individual bookings must be made.

This information has been disseminated already, everyone knows the date, the hotel, and the fact that they need to book the hotel rooms themselves. The dinner is in May and in March the next newsletter will be out with the booking form for me to do the numbers and seating plan, if anyone needs any other information prior to this, please do not hesitate to contact me, The Secretary.

Mark your calendar for the 2014 Reunion Weekend - May 9 – 11, which means our reunion is just around the corner! This year’s Reunion promises to be very special, and we don’t want you to miss it, so even if it's not a benchmark reunion year for you, join us for all or part of the weekend.

If you are able to join us you have the choice of either staying two nights – arriving on the Friday and departing on the Sunday morning – or just the one night – arriving on the Saturday and departing on the Sunday. Alternatively you can attend the Dinner only on the Saturday evening.

The Metropole Hotel is looking forward to having us back for a terrific weekend with old friends and colleagues. So, keep leaning on your old mates to come along as well. We’re getting a steady trickle but could do with more.

The Portland looks quite tidy, hadn't noticed that one before.

The Portland is very good me & Michelle stayed there last year. I had it booked again, but cancelled it 2 weeks ago. It only has 4 rooms, but the one we had was excellent, breakfast very good. Though not much parking.
