Veterans Badge

I dont know if any of you have sent off for your Veterans Badge yet I took heed of Braz and applied for my Veterans Badge it came the other day all I had to do was fill out the form print it off then I sent it off by fax (or you Can post it ) there web address is

so all of you that were in before the end of Dec 1969 and have not yet sent for it why not send off for it

May I ask a question.

Why is it that the veterans badge only goes up to 1969, and those who served in H.M forces up to then only qualify.?

Sorry to ask again if this has been done before.

The rulling changed in that you only need to serve a minimum of either 3or 5 yrs to qualify, hence the reason that when you leave the Army you get 1 issued to you.

It is planned that eventually all servicemen and women will be issued the badge. Due to a shortage, it is being issued incrementally, at the moment the cut off point is 1969. That date will be extended in the near future.
