    No return!

My return (enter) key does not work here, whether starting a thread like now or replying to one - when I hit return nothing happens - it stays on the same line. It doesn't happen anywhere but on this forum, wot's goin' on?

    John,

It happened to me a while back, the only way i got it to work properly for me was to use "RWF One Column" in the "Quick Style Chooser" at t he bottom of the page

    Re: No return!

I think the text editor used for posts is a bit quirky. It happens in other forums too. I have often noted that tabs and empty lines disappear without warning - the French 'Pages 1914-18' forum is notorious for that. No use trying to do some nice formatting on a reply.

The ‘one column’ thang don’t work for me.
This was typed out in word and pasted.
Will see if I can go back above and further space the lines with the enter key. (Nope)!

    Re: No return!

When i had this problem some months ago i ended up clearing the cache and getting rid of all cookies relating to the forum and starting again with a new google search etc, not sure if this was what cleared the problem but it did go away after that.

    John,

I have tested all of the forum styles and the Return Key is working correctly. What Browser are you using? If it is IE you may need to switch off/on the Compatibility View option
