Am i seeing things ?

Anyone like to confirm the following , look at this week's issue of the Radio Times, Page 128. Is the guy in the photo for Waterloo Road wearing a Royal Welch beret and Cap Badge ??? I nearly had a fit !!!!! And what's the tie ? And what's the blazer badge ? Gawd help us !

Looks like it was thrown together by somebody who didnt do any research I think your right about the cap badge, the tie is unlike any i have ever seen as for the blazer pocket badge looks more like an RAF one to me.
The medal bar is a bit iffy as well as i see it from left to right as you look at it, 1. Conspictuous gallantry cross. 2. Would appear to be the Africa general service 1902, 3 CSM, 4. the only match i can suggest is the British North Borneo Medal, 5 Appears to be the OBE military division.

Bloody disgrace since if im correct about the medals he would be around 130 years old. !!!
