Remembering a great Royal Welch Character.

It is six year since Eifion Jones 80 was taken from us. A great Royal Welch character who left his mark with many of us who had the honour to serve with him. Thinking of Wenna, Ian, Allison, Keith and his family who also lost his father in law at the same time. Time doesn't heal, it makes the loss a little more bearable. Keep a spot at the corner of the bar for me Eifion bach.
If I can help somebody as I pass along, my living will not be in vain.

I can still see him clearly in my mind. I remember him joining us when we were based at Springfield road police station. I was tasked with finding him a somewhere to live and as I led him to our luxurious accommodation he looked a bit lost. He turned out to be a really good soldier and friend. His wife Wenna became good friends with my wife.. Life seems so unfair sometimes R.I.P. Eifion.
