Mr David Short Late of the 1st battalion R.W.F
Hello all,
I have just rec a phone call from a Mr Michael Short. He is unable to post a thread on the forum. He phoned me to inform our members that his brother David Short passed away last Saturday. David served with the 1st circa 1969 and he served for about 9 years and 6 months. His army number was 24081455 his postings include the following, Honington, Crickhowell, Hong Kong, Belize, and two tours in Northern Ireland In concluding his details for me to post he
specifically asked that any further information is to be directed to him. The contact number is 01782/517533.

Condolences to all of Davids family and friends from all members of the Denbigh Branch The Royal Welch Fusiliers Comrades Association. I knew David well whilst serving. RIP.

Forrest of Dean Crematorium, Yew Tree Grove, Speech House Lane, Nr Cinderford, Gloucestershire, GL14 3HU
gathering afterwards at Coleford Rugby Club.

Served with Dai in Ass pioneers in Lomdonderry, It was Dai and a few of the lads that had to clear Smudgers locker out after he was killed in Stabane. good times were always had with Dai. R.I.P Dai boy.
