Reaffirmation of The Freedom of Caerphilly County Borough Parade

The 1st Bn Royal Welsh will Reaffirm the Freedom of Caerphilly County Borough, by marching through Bargoed on Saturday 28 September 2013. The Parade steps off at 1200hrs and march through the town to the newly regenerated town centre where there will be a short ceremony. This will be the last time the 1st Bn in its present configuration will take part in a Reaffirmation/Freedom Parade. Col Huw James, former Commanding Officer, will be representing the Regiment at the Saluting Station.
