    Re: RWF in Berlin

The only one I can remember settling there was a guy from the Pioneers, he was working the doors at the knocking shops in Grotty Charlottys, can't remember his name though!!!!!

    Hi ,
Martin Heap is the only one that i remember ......although i dont know if he ever did.
Tim and i went over there a couple of years ago. The place has totally changed. Graffitti on the married quarters, YMCA all boarded up. Loads of new houses built on the back road where we took it left at the village.

Jock Jessop,he was a sergeant in the RWF band some thirty years ago.He still lives in Berlin,I beleive his 'handle' is either 'Germany calling' or 'Berlin Calling' He attended the last Band re-union from Germany,a colourful chap.

    Re: RWF in Berlin

Al the lad from the assault pioneers who stayed behind in Berlin was a Fus Tharme I think that’s how used to spell his name, he was living with a Berlin girl and a frequent visitor to likes of Grotty Charlottys

    All the best
